IICT executive and professional tracks
IICT is an autonomous institute. Where a track leads to a university degree, that degree is awarded by the university and IICT provides the teaching, mentoring and study support. Anything IICT awards in its own name is an institutional award — useful, but a different thing from a university degree, and we never describe either as "UGC approved".

Who the tracks suit

- People whose goal — a promotion band, an eligibility criterion, a knowledge gap — is clear enough to tell whether a university degree is required or not.
Two questions that settle the choice
Do you need a university degree? If a promotion, government eligibility rule or further study requires a degree, take a track where a university awards it and confirm the university's name on your documents.
Or do you need the learning? If the requirement is skills and credibility with your employer, an institutional professional award can be the faster, cheaper fit.
Verification checklist
- Get the exact award title and the awarding body in writing.
- If a university awards it, get the university named on the fee receipt and the enrolment record.
- Confirm curriculum, assessment mode and examination arrangements.
- Confirm total fees, instalments and the refund rule on a dated sheet.
